Martin Broadhurst presenting on AI in HubSpot

AI in HubSpot, applied sensibly

AI is the fastest-moving part of the platform — and the easiest to get wrong. I help HubSpot customers use Breeze, agents and AI-assisted portal management where they genuinely help, and steer clear of where they don't.

In plain terms

In plain terms: HubSpot now has a lot of AI built in, and not all of it is worth your time. I switch on the parts that genuinely save your team hours and leave the rest — so you get the benefit without paying for the hype.

HubSpot Partner Advisory Council — AI

Two consecutive terms advising HubSpot on AI

For 2025 and again for 2026 — two consecutive terms — I've served on HubSpot's Partner Advisory Council for AI. It's a small group HubSpot convenes to advise on how AI actually lands for the partners and customers using it day to day.

What that means for you is simple: I'm not guessing about where HubSpot's AI is heading. I feed back what works and what falls short for real SMEs — and I bring that same judgement to your portal. I've been building on HubSpot since 2012, so I can tell the genuinely useful from the demo-ware.

AI in HubSpot is moving quickly, and not every feature is worth switching on. My job is to apply it sensibly — the parts that save your team real time now, set up so they are dependable, not just impressive.

What I do

What this covers

AI is already in my delivery — from content operations to AI-assisted migrations. Here's where it earns its place in a HubSpot portal.

Breeze & AI features

HubSpot's native AI — Breeze, content assistants and copilots — set up and pointed at the tasks where it actually saves time.

AI agents

Scoping and building agents that handle real work in your portal, with guardrails — not guesswork.

AI-assisted portal management

Using AI to keep a portal clean — deduplication, data hygiene, property and workflow housekeeping — faster than by hand.

AI-assisted migrations

On a migration, AI can summarise years of activity history into useful context — so you import the signal, not the noise.

An honest filter

Two terms on HubSpot's AI advisory council mean I can tell you what's worth switching on — and what to leave off.

How I work

How it typically runs

Separate hype from help

We look at what your team does, and I flag where HubSpot's AI genuinely helps versus where it's a distraction.

Build it in

I switch on and configure the AI features and agents that fit, set up to be dependable rather than just clever.

Keep it current

The platform moves monthly; I keep your setup aligned with what's actually landed and proven.

Proof

Where I've done this

AI content operations, embedded in a real Marketing Pro migration.

Vibration Monitoring

Havspro

An integrated AI service for rapid blog publishing and research content, wired into a HubSpot Marketing Pro migration.

Content velocity, transformed

Read the case study

On a recent Spotler-to-HubSpot migration I used AI to summarise years of activity history into useful context — importing the signal, not the noise. See how I run implementations & migrations.

It's really helpful to have the summary of what's been imported. The AI-generated activity summaries sound like a really sensible way of keeping the useful context without importing lots of noise.
