Broadhurst Digital wins Micro Business of the Year at the Derbyshire Business Awards

On Thursday night at Pride Park Stadium, Broadhurst Digital was named Micro Business of the Year at the East Midlands Chamber Derbyshire Business Awards 2025/26.

I started this business to prove a simple idea: that companies get brilliant results when the senior person who scopes the work is the one who delivers it. No hand-offs — just the person doing the work. An award like this, judged on the year's client results rather than the size of the team, feels like that idea being taken seriously.

The year the judges looked at included HubSpot implementations and rescues for clients from architecture practices to international events groups, AI training delivered to hundreds of companies across the East Midlands and beyond, and the launch of two AI products of my own. It also included becoming a HubSpot Gold Solutions Partner and a Zapier Silver Certified Partner.

Thank you to East Midlands Chamber for running an awards programme that takes micro businesses as seriously as the big ones, to my fellow finalists — congratulations, Juggling Octopus — and most of all to my clients. A one-person consultancy only wins anything because its clients trust it with work that matters.
